The iPad is an extremely versatile device, but sometimes, adding a couple accessories can make it even more powerful. So here are 5 accessories you can get that will make your iPad even better.

The iPad has a great touch screen, and using it is very easy, but sometimes you need more precise input. That’s where a stylus comes in handy, you have a lot more control, and its perfect for things like: note taking or drawing.

The stylus I use is made by a company called Targus, you can read the full review here.

Or you can read how to make your own stylus here

Writing on the iPad is sometimes awkward, especially if you have a lot to write. A wireless keyboard is one of the best investment you can get if you’re going to write a lot. There are a lot of popular keyboard cases out there, here are some popular ones:

Apple TV

The iPad is a great device for consuming media, and the Apple Tv is perfect for wirelessly streaming it on a big screen. You do this via airplay, which allows you to stream movies, and apps directly to your connected Tv. If you don’t care about using a wire-connection, you can also get the HDMI cable adapter.

Camera Connection Kit

If you are a photographer, or just a casual photo-taker, you’ll love the camera connection kit. It plugs into your charging port, and allows you to transfer photos via SD card or USB. The transfer speeds are relatively fast and I would personally recommend this to anyone who stores photos on their iPad.

Square

If you need a way to accept credit card payments, Square is the way to go. Square works by plugging in to your headphone jack, and when you want to scan a card you just swipe across the square. Both the app and accessory are free, but each transaction will claim a 2.75% commision. For anyone who sells products, this is a great platform for allowing customers to pay with their credit cards.

You’re a bit off on the comparison to the Kindle. There’s no way the iPad is as good as the Kindle. Reading on an LCD balkict screen is nowhere near as comfortable as reading eInk. The Kindle will also blow the iPad away on several other eReader points. Battery life for one, 10 hours vs. several weeks on the Kindle. Weight and comfort are also MAJOR factors. In fact any eInk reader will beat the iPad. But beside that the iPad is very cool.
